Use and care
For best results, let dry when not in use by hanging from the metal hook at end of handle or storing in a jar with bristles upright. Avoid any long soaks.
The bristles will soften over time but retain their scrubbing power, and you can replace the head when it starts to wear out. Boil to sterilize when needed.

When the brush heads begins to wear, we like to retire them for cleaning around the house.
Compost the brush head when necessary, and find the replacement brush head here. Reuse the wooden handle. If necessary, all parts of the handle are either compostable (wood) or recyclable (metal).
Love this brush; it's soft enough for all my dishes, but thick enough bristles to keep its shape and remove grime. Really happy with this and like the grip. Mad I didn't switch sooner!
These have been great for cleaning food off our cast iron and carbon steel pans. The bristles are just stiff enough to remove any stuck on bits but soft enough to work into all the corners.
I recently bought the wooden brush head (without the handle because they were sold out) in an attempt to make my kitchen more eco-friendly. Even without the handle, I absolutely love it. I use a combination of the brush, and a loofah for cup edges and such. The brush is sturdy, and the bristles aren't too soft or hard on dishes. I would say, for the stuck on stuff (pizza cheese I'm looking at you) you would need something sturdier, like a scraper, but otherwise this brush is everything! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because within the first 2 days of using it, the wood starting warping a bit and even cracked in places. So far, this hasn't been an issue with smell or bristles falling out, but I'm sure mold will start growing there in the future. I have never let it soak in water, and I leave it to dry on a dry surface. Overall, I definitely recommend it and will most likely be buying more in the future, just wish the wood didn't crack and warp so quickly.
I use this without a handle because they were sold out when I went in. I'm honestly glad I got it without a handle because it makes it easier to dry and work with.
I cannot highly recommend this enough - not only does it get the job done and scrub every pot I throw it’s way but it lasts way longer than any plastic dish brushes I used to use. Been using mine for a while and the bristles still look like new, not bent and warped like other brushes get. This is an eco friendly kitchen essential!
