Kaolin White Clay

Kaolin white clay is one of the most gentle clays out there. It draws out impurities from pores, soothes inflammation, and tightens the skin naturally. This clay can be mined from all over the world, but was originally mined from the Kao-ling mountains in China.

We recommend this clay to anyone with sensitive skin or those with irritated acne prone skin.

* Please note this product will soon be archived from the shop. If you'd like to try one of our custom clay blends that features white clay, we recommend the hydrating floral mask for dry skin.   You can read more about why we’re making these changes and stock up on other old favorites here.

Use & Care

For best results use a wooden or plastic spoon mix 1 tsp of clay with 1 tsp of water, rosewater or your liquid of choice in a plastic, glass or ceramic bowl until it creates a paste, not too thick or too thin. Use a brush or clean fingers to evenly distribute onto your face. Leave on for 5-8 minutes not allowing the clay to fully dry on your face. It shouldn’t be hard or painful to move the muscles in your face. With a washcloth use cold or warm (not hot) water to remove the clay using a circular motion. Pat dry and follow with a toner and moisturizer.

How to store: Always use glass, wood or plastic when storing natural clays, never allowing it to touch metal since clays will absorb the metals and become less effective. Keep in a cool, dry place.

Perfect Clay for Masks

I really like how easy this clay is to work with. It does not clump up like the bentonite clay does when mixed with water. You do not need any sort of specific ratio to work with this clay at all. It is very beginner friendly. Since this clay isn't messy, the packaging works fine and it's easy to reclose it when you're finished.

Great product, great seller

Loved this clay, and it shipped to me fairly quickly, too. Will buy from here again.
