At Eco Collective, we've made fun of ourselves a bit for having overly practical products that aren't always the most fun as gifts. I mean, who wants to unwrap a gift only to discover it's a toilet bowl brush?
But if you're thinking of giving thoughtful and sustainable gifts, there's still be a place for practical items - after all, buying only what you need and will actually use is at the core of zero waste!
So here's a roundup of some of our favorite items that strike a perfect balance of fun and practical. With cute colors and prints, they're fun to use every day and they also happen to to reduce waste and be gentler on Mama Earth!
I received the bee journal. It was out of stock so I has ro wait but not long. It was shipped immediately once they received them and I received it in perfect condition. If I had to comllain it would be that although the design is made in USA the book is made in China. Only because I like to buy from loxal artists and artisans whenever possible. However will come in handy and art work is gorgeous.
It’s hard for me to find bars of body soap that don’t leave a residue after I rinse off. This soap smells so good and I love how it exfoliates my skin. Definitely recommend!
I love trying bar soap from many local and small businesses & I love this bar. Beautiful presentation with the flowers on top, just like in the photo. Lathers very well, smells amazing but not too strong on the body afterwards. Been enjoying using it to shave with my ECO new safety razor!
In the past, I used liquid soap and am really happy I made the change to a beautiful, high quality, and sustainable alternative. The smell is nice and held its shape well, lasting us several months. It may be pricier than what I would normally spend, but well worth it.
I bought the eucalyptus & shea butter soap and it smells amazing! It's effective but not drying as a body soap. The corners/edges do make it a little difficult to apply to your body at first but I'm sure they will round off after a little more use. I can't wait to buy more!
The sweet orange + ginger is particularly great.
Love ‘em. Fun patterns. Great gifts. Thanks!
I use these all the time instead of sponges, rags, or paper towels for wiping counters and surfaces. They don't smell, they stay sturdy, and they can be cleaned and sanitized to extend their life even further.
I love these for mopping up spills, drying dishes, and cleaning countertops. They seem much more sanitary than dish/cleaning rags and don't carry a musty smell.
This is the perfect size for a quick on-the-go snack! It fits great in pockets and bags. We use them for dry snacks like nuts and our dogs treats. The material is thick enough to feel sturdy but nicely light weight. Bonus that they’re available in a variety of fun colors!
I assumed they would big enough to put in a sandwich but these are too small to use for anything.
Like your best friend, these bags are fun and reliable. They come in so many colors, I love seeing them in my Tupperware drawer. Trust me, these bags will become your best friend next time you’re on the go or just have something you need to keep safe for later.
I love these and want every size. The seal is 100% safe. You could fill one with olive oil, stick it in your bag, and wouldn’t have to worry about it leaking a bit. I also love how easy they are to wash in the dishwasher and then air dry.
I travel for business at least once a month and I love these to stash snacks, dirty reusable utensils, and necessities on the plane and during my trip. For flights, I pack one with my earbuds, phone charger, antibac wipes, lip balm, and eyedrops and stick it in the seatpocket so everything stays clean and I'm not digging thru my bag during the flight. They get extra points for being dishwasher safe.
The process was seamless! Highly recommend this if you want to give someone the flexibility to shop the Eco Collective collection at their own pace.
It was a pleasant and easy experience to purchase a gift card. Highly recommended!
I purchased a three pack, and couldn’t be happier! Such good quality for the price.
It's a pleasure to get in the easy, eco-friendly habit of using and reusing these instead of tearing off and later trashing sheet after sheet of plastic wrap or foil. We sent both our adult children a set of the purple ones, too.
