Ultra thin natural latex condoms - pack of 10
Preventing unplanned pregnancy is one of the most impactful things you can do for the environment, and we think that's pretty sexy. After learning that many condoms contain harmful chemicals and questionable materials, we searched for ones that are considerate of the health of you and the environment, and found Maude. These condoms are made from Fair Trade natural rubber latex, without harmful chemicals such as spermicide, nitrosamine or synthetic fragrances.
They are electronically tested for safety, FDA-approved, and feature easy-to-open buttercup packaging.
Yes, condoms do come with some packaging waste, but we want to encourage you to practice safe sex regardless, without chemicals that are harmful to your health and the environment.
Maude is actively working with their manufacturing partner to produce a biodegradable pouch option, which they hope to be completed for Fall 2020.
Size
The length is 7.09"/180mm and the width is 2.09"/53mm. The thickness is approximately 0.060 to 0.065mm (this is comparable to a standard condom thickness average of 0.065 to 0.070mm). This condom is ultra thin, plain, parallel-sided, and smooth.
Use and care
Store in room temperature, and do not puncture, bite, or tear. Use only once.
Latex condoms are an effective form of contraception. To put it on, take the condom out of the packaging and pinch the tip at the center between two fingers. Then, hold the condom at the tip of erect penis and roll the edges down the shaft of your penis until the condom is completely on.

Alum stone deodorant and aftershave
The deodorant crystal our customers are raving about!
The alum stone is a highly unique natural deodorant that can also be used as an aftershave. This amazing crystal deodorant is made of mineral salt, so it stops odor-producing bacteria from forming, making it a safe and effective natural deodorant. Each stone will last you for several years!
Alum stones will help you sweat less, but they don't block your pores like an antiperspirant would, meaning they still allow your body to naturally cool down and release toxins when it needs to. They are a beautiful and package free alternative to deodorant that's completely nontoxic.
Alum stones have been used since antiquity as a styptic and a deodorizer. The secret to using this crystal as a deodorant is to have clean skin before you apply! You can read more about how to use alum stones on our blog. When used as an aftershave on the legs or face, it soothes nicks and cuts, and helps to prevent razor burn or skin irritation from shaving.
Each alum stone is a unique mineral crystal with slight variations in shape and appearance. They are natural, hypoallergenic, cruelty-free and vegan.
Use and care
Gently wet the surface and apply as you would deodorant.
The alum stone works best when your pores are clean and open, such as after a shower. You can also use a warm or soapy washcloth to cleanse your underarm, and then apply the stone. Either works just fine! Cleansing your underarm first is the trick to what makes this so effective.
It can have a bit of an adjustment period like any natural deodorant. We suggest giving the detox phase a few weeks for it to work its best.
Please note: It is a salt crystal that dissolves with moisture, so pat dry if needed and store in a dry place. We recommend using an old jar lid as a tray for your alum stone!
It does not expire, nor is it temperature sensitive. With daily use, this stone should last over two years.
Types
Classic - Each alum stone is a unique mineral crystal with slight variations in shape and appearance.
Imperfect (not currently available) - We inspect each stone from our manufacturer and have discounted some due to more noticeable imperfections. "Imperfect" alum stones are not broken, they are typically just slightly chipped around the edges, but work just as well!
Travel/sample size (not currently available) - This is a perfect way to sample an alum stone if you're unsure, or just want a smaller piece for travel. These are pieces of stones that were broken during shipment, so putting these to use is truly zero waste! Each has a smooth outer side that can glide against your skin.
Size
This stone weighs 5.3 oz.
Ingredients
Potassium Alum (Mineral Salts).
Alum stones contain a naturally occurring form of aluminum (Potassium Alum) that does not possess the same health risks as the aluminums in many antiperspirant deodorants (Aluminum Chloride/Chlorohydrate/Zirconium), which block sweat ducts and glands. Potassium Alum is a different chemical compound and stays on the surface of your skin, making alum stones safe to use.
Does not contain Parabens.
Packaging
None.
Origin
Made in France.
End of life
Use until it’s too small to hold. It can last about 5 years, depending on how often you use it. You’ll end up with a small piece that's basically a rock, so you won’t want to put it in a compost bin but what you can do is sand it into a powder (it’s a very soft crystal), add water and put it in a spray bottle to keep using as deodorant! Zero waste!
I was skeptical about replacing my standard deodorant with this, but it really works! I'm thrilled!
my underarms have always been extremely sensitive to the point where even natural deodorants constantly broke me out in a rash AND made them dark! I’ve found one that worked a little but it did NOTHING for odor - if anything I think it made it worse! But on the first use with this, NO SMELL ALL DAY! Like wow - a week into using it and no rash either. Never thought a rock would be the answer to my sensitive underarms
This stone is like magic to me! I am an extremely active individual and the deodorant stone held up against my sweaty post run-pits. I spray my stone with water infused with essential oils to give my underarms a nice fragrance. I also sewed a little pouch out of repurposed fabric to keep my stone and spray bottle in while traveling. I highly recommend switching to this zero waste alternative!! Thank you eco-collective for introducing me to such a fabulous product!
I have been on the lookout for a packaging-free deodorant for a while and this is perfect! I've been using a variety of natural (homemade and store-bought) deodorants for the past six years. There is the detox period but I don't mind it. Thanks for offering this option!
I have used this product for several days now and am loving it! It goes on so smooth when I wet it a little in my sink.
I would compare it’s effectiveness to other natural aluminum free deodorants and have not noticed any BO smell, I am a recreational athlete so this is important! It won’t keep you from sweating but neither do any of the other natural deodorants. Best of all this is plastic free!!
Menstrual cup
The Saalt Cup is a reusable soft silicone cup worn internally like a tampon, but collects—rather than absorbs—your period. It stays in place by creating a seal between the cup and your vaginal wall. Once your cup is filled, you simply empty, rinse, and reinsert the cup for another 12 hours of protection. Heel clicks and hallelujahs!
Menstrual are a wonderful zero waste alternative to tampons or pads for anyone who menstruates. The cups dramatically reduce your risk for TSS and your environmental footprint. Plus, the average menstruator spends $120 on tampons and pads every year. Pick up one of these and it'll last you for years.
We chose Saalt as our brand of choice because their cups are one of the most comfortable out there plus they are made right here in the USA and are more affordable than other brands out there! Wins all around!
Check out the sizes tab of this page for guidance on choosing the right size for your cup!
Sizes
Most people can probably use either size of cup, but one might be more comfortable, based on the information below. You might like to try a duo pack, for your light and heavy days, or just to have a spare.
Size Small:
- 2 to 3 tampons capacity
- Best for those with a lighter flow
- Recommended for those who...
- have a low to medium cervix (those who can feel their cervix with less than 2 knuckles of the pointer finger inserted into your vaginal canal) during their period
- are first time cup users or haven't comfortably inserted anything into their vagina.
- have strong pelvic floor muscles
- are younger (teens) or are very petite
Size Regular:
- 3 to 4 tampons capacity
- Best for those with a heavy flow
- Recommended for those who...
- have a high cervix (if you can't feel your cervix with your pointer finger inserted into your vaginal canal, or you need to insert your finger past 2 knuckles) during their period
- have given birth vaginally or carried a pregnancy to term
Use and care
Basic steps are included below, but we recommend you follow the more detailed guide (with diagrams) that is included in the box to learn how to insert, use, remove, store and care for your menstrual cup.
- Wash your cup with gentle soap, and boil to sanitize before first use.
- Your cup folds before insertion (see guide in the box for folding techniques), and pops open once inserted to create a seal, preventing leaks.
- Pinch the base of the cup and give it a spin to check if it's fully open - it should spin easily if it is. Your cup should sit a little lower than a tampon, just below your cervix. Wear up to 12 hours, even while sleeping.
- To remove, pinch the middle of the cup to break the seal around the top, and gently pull it out to empty it (usually right into the toilet).
- Rinse and wash your cup with a gentle soap and water after each emptying; store in included cloth pouch or another breathable container.
- Boil between periods to sanitize, using tongs to ensure it doesn't touch the bottom of the pot.

Origin
Made in the USA and distributed by Saalt.
Saalt started with a phone call that co-founder Cherie made to an aunt in Venezuela, where pads and tampons had not been available in stores for years. She immediately thought of her 5 daughters and what she would do if she found herself in the same situation. The dependence she and others had on disposables kept her up at night.
Saalt believes that people empowered and equipped to live their element can change the world. As a certified B Corporation, they commit 2% of their revenue to donate period care to regions with the most need, and help fund initiatives in menstrual health, education, and sustainability.
End of life
Menstrual cups can last up to 10 years. When you're ready to move on to the next, check with your local recycling facility to see if they accept silicone for recycling. If they don't, we will be adding information here soon about where we recommend sending silicone products for recycling!
