I’m actually quite amazed at how well this adheres to whatever you’re wrapping whether it be a container of the food
itself. So much better than plastic. Glad to be doing my part for the environment.
I purchased a three pack, and couldn’t be happier! Such good quality for the price.
It's a pleasure to get in the easy, eco-friendly habit of using and reusing these instead of tearing off and later trashing sheet after sheet of plastic wrap or foil. We sent both our adult children a set of the purple ones, too.
The absorption of this tiny cloth is crazy!
I only bought one for me as I bought others to give us gifts. I’m super excited to gift these now that I know how useful they are. I used mine for wiping down the counters and it left no streaks. I washed dishes with it, dried dishes, cleaned my fridge. They are much easier to use than a dishrag because of the size. All I had to do between jobs was rinse it out in a little soapy water. I’ll be replacing all of my dishrags with these eventually. Highly recommend it!
Love ‘em. Fun patterns. Great gifts. Thanks!
I use these all the time instead of sponges, rags, or paper towels for wiping counters and surfaces. They don't smell, they stay sturdy, and they can be cleaned and sanitized to extend their life even further.
I love these for mopping up spills, drying dishes, and cleaning countertops. They seem much more sanitary than dish/cleaning rags and don't carry a musty smell.
Smells sooo good and a little goes a long way! I’m glad I’ll be saving money in the long run by using this
I absolutely love this soap block! It smells fantastic and only takes a small amount to get a nice lather. It’s very gentle on the hands but my favorite part is the scent! I’m waiting for the stone to come back in stock.
Even though this soap says it's lemongrass scented, it smells like straight up fruit loops! It is effective once you get enough on your cloth/sponge, but that does take some. It's lasted me about 1.5 months of handwashing dishes and I would say I have 1/2-2/3 of the bar left. It's not a bad price for the amount you get, and if you like the scent, you'll be satisfied!
I love this soap! Cleans well, smells lovely, use it as hand soap in the kitchen too. And as someone who enjoys the ritual is cleaning..the soap and eco scrubber are fun!
It’s the second time I order this dish soap and I will keep ordering it!! I’m totally in love with the pure ingredients, the smell is amazing, super effective, and it lasts for a long time!
I am so glad you guys have bulk liquid dish soap now! Makes me so happy to refill the last plastic container of dish soap that I purchased! Wonder how long the container will hold up . . . 10, maybe 20 years :-)
Plus - my pack cam in a box/packaging that was formerly used for this companies laundry pods!
I love that EC thinks about the whole picture in it's approach to helping people consuming less
At first, I was concerned that the pods wouldn’t dissolve well and would leave that powdery residue all over my dishes, but I’m happy to report that is NOT the case! I actually think my dishes are even coming out cleaner than when I was using cascade. The only thing to be mindful of is to leave plenty of space in front of the detergent dispenser. I had a pan at an angle in front of it, and did find some undissolved powder under the dispenser. But since I’ve started loading the bottom rack a different way, I have not had any issues. So glad that I can make another staple in my home routine plastic-free!
Works well in our dishwasher. Really appreciate the plastic-free packaging
The pods do a great job of cleaning the dishes. They also limit the waste created from plastic packages surrounding other pods I used.
Been using these for a year and consistently impressed with their effectiveness.
Easy, plastic-free bulk hand soap for refilling bottles. Lathers well, and the bergamot scent is lovely!
I absolutely love the ability to fill up my handsoap dispensers right at Eco Collective in non-Covid19 times . . . but just as easy was purchasing this same soap in a returnable glass jar (deposit to be refunded) and filling up dispensers at all the sinks around my house. Wonderful! And great quality soap as well!
This dish brush is effective and I love that the handle lets me keep my hands out of the hot water/soap (very helpful for sensitive skin/eczema!) I will say after a few uses I started to see cracks in the wood of the brush head but it seems to have little effect besides making the bristles slightly more flexible. It pairs super well with the handheld pot scrubber and I'm loving these additions to my eco-friendlier kitchen!
I’ve had this brush for about 3 months now, using it daily. Bristles haven’t worn down much and it’s in good condition overall. The handle however sucks! Within about a month and half of using it, the brush head was getting wobbly as the metal part that holds the brush head was pulling out of the handle. Then just last week the metal part of the handle which hold the brush head in place just totally fell out of the handle (see pic). I was able to shove it back in and give it a few bangs, but it’s still very wobbly. I really thought the handle would last for hopefully years, not months. Pretty disappointed. The brush head itself is very good though.
Love this brush; it's soft enough for all my dishes, but thick enough bristles to keep its shape and remove grime. Really happy with this and like the grip. Mad I didn't switch sooner!
These have been great for cleaning food off our cast iron and carbon steel pans. The bristles are just stiff enough to remove any stuck on bits but soft enough to work into all the corners.
I recently bought the wooden brush head (without the handle because they were sold out) in an attempt to make my kitchen more eco-friendly. Even without the handle, I absolutely love it. I use a combination of the brush, and a loofah for cup edges and such. The brush is sturdy, and the bristles aren't too soft or hard on dishes. I would say, for the stuck on stuff (pizza cheese I'm looking at you) you would need something sturdier, like a scraper, but otherwise this brush is everything! The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because within the first 2 days of using it, the wood starting warping a bit and even cracked in places. So far, this hasn't been an issue with smell or bristles falling out, but I'm sure mold will start growing there in the future. I have never let it soak in water, and I leave it to dry on a dry surface. Overall, I definitely recommend it and will most likely be buying more in the future, just wish the wood didn't crack and warp so quickly.
I've had my handheld pot scrubber for less than a month now and I am concerned about the durability of this product. I store my brush upright and away from water as the use and care instructions dictate; however, the wooden handle is cracked near the bristles and the bristles keep falling out. I hope this is simply part of a break in process and the pot scrubber will last for months to come. The scrubber does tackle grease and burnt food extremely well and provides a great soapy lather!
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with this product! Your feedback is really useful - we'll be sure to pass it along to the manufacturer to improve the product in the future. There's certainly some fine-tuning that comes along with creating a durable biodegradable product!
Also - I realized upon reading your message that it might not have been clear in our original instructions that upright in this case means bristles pointing down, handle facing up! So I do want to clarify that in case you thought we meant bristles pointing upright, which could result in the wood near where the bristles attach to deteriorate more quickly from water, causing bristles to loosen or fall out.
I hope this helps! Feel free to email us if you have any additional questions/concerns!
Summer from Eco Collective
This scrubber is super effective especially on pans with burnt bits and a great replacement for steel wool/Brillo pads!
It’s super stiff at first but relaxes a bit after some use so works perfectly! Works great in tandem with the loofah
Works so well on hard to clean stuff and works great to hold suds from a bar of dish soap. Love it.
Great little scrubber! Super tough on stuff that's burnt/stuck on pots and pans.
I was excited to find this brush, but unfortunately it broke where the wood connects to the metal after less than a month of use. Thankfully it wasn't too pricey!
Love the ethical and sustainable manufacturing of this product so it's worth it even if it's not 100% perfect! The bristles are definitely firm, so it can double as a scouring material if you need! But also a bit harsh on plastic bottles (I bet they'll soften with use though), so just need to be delicate or it will scratch them up (washing the inside of my Nalgene bottle, for example). I also wish that there was more material along the wirey bottom of it because I can see why other comments felt it was a bit flimsy. But if you're delicate with it, I think it will hold up nicely! Gets the job done for sure! I use with a solid bar of castile soap and ta da! Vegan friendly, palm free, and ethical products are the move in 2020 y'all!
This brush is so useful for getting inside jars and containers with small openings. Because the bristles are so stiff, it cleans really well. My only complaint is that it bends really easily. (I did not find that this has impaired my ability to clean with it in any way though).
This has been a great brush to have in the sink. The bristles are nice and stiff, so it works really well -- even on things that aren't bottles!
I received the package quickly since the outlet is in Seattle where I live. The brushes are a good quality but shorter than I expected. Overrall though, I'm happy with the experience.
