A highly concentrated bar of castile soap for all your kitchen and bath needs. Grate into flakes and melt into water at different ratios to make dish soap, all-purpose cleaning spray, laundry detergent, body wash, facial cleanser, or hand soap. Suds away!

Use & Care

To make liquid soap from this bar, you'll grate the soap into flakes using a cheese grater, and melt into boiling water. We recommend 2 oz of soap to every 4 cups of water for a nice liquid castile soap, but you can adjust the ratio to be more or less concentrated. Combine boiling water and grated soap in a slow cooker and cook on low for an hour, and then blend or whisk until smooth. Alternatively, melt the flakes on the stovetop and stir in boiling water, cooking continuously for one hour. Let cool for at least half an hour.

Store the bar in a cool place where it can dry between uses.

Size

Each bar is 1 pound. That's 16 ounces, so it will make approximately 2 gallons of liquid Castile soap. The soap is approximately 3-1/2" square and 2" thick.
