Kelp is a type of seaweed which naturally grows along shallow coastlines in ‘underwater forests’ around the world. Kelp is an excellent source of iodine, iron, calcium and vitamins A, B1, B2, C, D and E. This kelp powder is an amazing ingredient for anyone who has dry and flakey skin because of kelps high iodine content. Kelp contains minerals that penetrate the skin and remove toxins. Kelp is rich in antioxidants, which is known to help protect against UVA rays, external aggressors and daily pollution. This is one of our favorite DIY ingredients for those of us with dry skin.

Instructions
Add 1 tsp of kelp powder to any DIY face mask. Sprinkle a little bit of kelp powder on your food to increase iodine intake.
We recommend storing kelp powder in an airtight glass container.
