A simple spin on the traditional Savon De Marseille soaps, which are substantial chunks of soap intended to be left on the counter and rubbed with a dish brush or sponge to pick up soap. By law, the Savon de Marseille has to be made of at least 72% olive oil, so that's what this block soap is composed of, with the balance made up of coconut oil. There is beauty in simplicity!

We tried this soap after first getting the tile and the sage on the mountain soap and loving it. For some reason this one did not dry out as well. It kept getting soft in the middle until it was hollow. We are switching back to the other brand!
I really like the soap. Not drying on my hands, cleans dishes pretty well. I'm pretty sure I ordered the unscented one, but it does have a scent. It smells amazing though!
I was a little hesitant about this block due to the other reviewer that said it was too strong smelling for the kitchen, but I am pleasantly surprised with not only the smell (it could even be stronger for my liking, it somewhat seems to come and go) but I'm impressed with ability to clean and degrease and does not leave a residue. I don't notice needing anymore scrubbing than I typically would with my go-to dish soap the Meyer's Clean Day. I am looking forward to trying this over the next several months. Thanks!
I LOVE THIS SOAP. I'm transitioning away from plastics and this is a great alternative to liquid dish soap packaged in plastic. I cook a lot at home so I end up washing dishes quite a bit as well by hand. Even so this block lasted over 3 months, washing 1-3 sinkfuls of dishes daily and using for hand washing. It works great on all dishes whether you're using for pots and pans or nice glassware. The scent is very light and nice, and the soap doesn't dry out my hands the way other soaps do. I've even turned my mom onto this product! Can't say enough good things
It felt like I had to scrub pretty hard under scalding hot water to get oil and grease off of my dishes. It lathers nicely and does last a long time, but after a few months I gave up and had to switch back to regular dish soap.
