Refillable dental floss is a simple and stylish plastic-free alternative. Each new floss purchase comes with a refillable glass container with a 33-yard spool of compostable silk or corn floss.
Refills are available separately in packs of 2 spools (66 yards total!) so you can use your container again and again.
Use & Care
This floss is biodegradable, it can be a bit more prone to breakage than regular floss made from plastic. We offer both silk and corn floss because the silk is a bit sturdier and might be a preferred option if you have tight spaces between your teeth.

I love eco collective and have had great experiences with everything else I've ordered, but this vegan floss completely fell apart with barely any pressure, leaving lots of strands in my teeth. At this point, I feel like I can't even use it sadly.

Good floss
Been using for a couple weeks. No breaks, seems durable. Love the little glass container. Came here to order refills but they’re out of stock. Hope they can be replenished

Breaks Super Easily
I've been using biodegradable vegan flosses for years, and this one works, but compared to other vegan flosses this one breaks and frays between teeth which is a first for me. I got this as a stash of floss to have at a friend's place so I'm okay with it not being great because it's not my daily floss. Not sure why this one frays but other vegan flosses don't, but there are better options out there.

Vegan Floss is Great
I had tried the silk floss previously (review below) and liked it very much. I have to say that I think I like the vegan corn floss even better. I do have some tight spaces in my teeth, so it's a little challenging there, but for the most part it is strong and works well. It has more of a dental tape feeling than the silk floss.

Doesn't break as much as other zero-waste floss
This is for the vegan refills.
I really like this floss. It's not too thick or abrasive on my teeth, but it doesn't totally shred before I'm done flossing like the geoorganics one. I do have a couple spots in my teeth that are close together that do pull on this a bit, but this floss doesn't totally break and get stuck in my teeth. I find I can just move spots on the floss instead for those parts.
